The Spirit of Salford Community Awards celebrate the great work of the individuals and community groups who do so much to make Salford great.

SEND Matters have a chance to be shortlisted in the ‘Best Child Friendly Project’.

This award recognises an individual or group doing outstanding work to make Salford a more child friendly city. it would be AMAZING if we were considered for this award - we havent won anything before!!!

Judges will be seeking to recognise work that has improved the lives of children and young people in Salford by:

  • Strengthening the rights of children and young people

  • Bringing child and young people new opportunities in areas like education, play, and skills and work

  • A judging panel will shortlist four finalists and select an overall winner from the finalists. All finalists will be invited to attend a special ceremony at the AJ Bell Stadium on 3 April 2025.

  • Fingers and toes crossed!
