I fully recommend SEND Matters. Lucy have been so helpful with superb advice for both my kids situations. My daughter is 7 with ASD and PDA. She has never been in school and Lucy represented me through the appeal process. We were successful and got EOTAS for my daughter with a personal budget. This was even settled with the LA before the tribunal hearing date. She helped me with other complaints I could never have done on my own. She educated and guided me through the processes. She also helped with improving my son’s support. He spent alot of time absent from high school because of his SEND, but thanks to Lucy he is going to Citywall full time, in post 16 education. If i hadnt found and instructed Lucy, I woudl have probably had a breakdowg from all the stress and would have given up fighting to get my children the right support they so needed.

Lucy/SEND Matters are incredible. Lucy has helped me and my family far more than she will ever know. She is knowledgable, patient and genuinely cares about all the families she advocates for. nothing is ever too much for her, shes prompt in responding and puts you at ease when deadlines and meetings are coming up. My son now goes to a brilliant school in the area that meets his needs and that's down to Lucy and Send Matters. I cant ever put into words how grateful i am for SEND Matters.

After being failed by her primary school and mental health services for years, my daughter (finally) got a EHCP a few weeks before she was due to start high school. it was a poorly written, basic plan, that didnt support her needs. The LA also stated she will be going to a mainstream high school, despite her rare chromosone deletion, ASD, severe anxiety, ADHD and significant delays in her academic work. I thankfully found Lucy and SEND Matters on Facebook and instructed her to fight this decision, and fight we did! She informed me about the LA's legal responsibilities. Long story short, my daughter is now entering year 10. She is preparing for GCSE's i was told she would never be able to sit. Shes in the top 3 of her entire school for maths after being written off by her primary school as 'not being good with numbers'. This would never have happened without Lucy's guidance and advocacy. What she achieved for us with our tribunal and and many others i am aware of - is change a whole families lives for the better . Lucy proves that not all heroes wear capes

The way Lucy managed my daughter's case against the local authority was out of this world. Always completely honest and realistic, she guided me through the whole process and every possible outcome. Thanks to Lucy and SEND Matters we won the appeal and I feel like i have my daughter back . She is happy and in a suitable provision for her needs. I honestly have no clue where we would be now without Lucy's representation throughout the appeal. If you need to fight a decision about your child's needs - then I 100% recommend instructing Lucy to act on your behalf.

Lucy of SEND Matters helped me with my appeal against the local authority to get my son into a specialist school after months of him being 'forgotten' and 'ignored' . Lucy was totally on the ball with the appeal and we won!
